- This announcement is issued in accordance with the Ministry of Education (MOE) Regulations Governing the Subsidy Program for Domestic Universities Selecting Students for Overseas Study or Professional Internships Abroad (full text available at https://edu.law.moe.gov.tw/LawContent.aspx?id=FL038574). For key amendments applicable to the 2026 application cycle , please refer to the official Study Abroad Program website.
- To facilitate the 2026 application process (applications do not include Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macau), the internal schedule is outlined below:
- Study Abroad Program: Selection of outstanding students to earn academic credits at overseas higher education institutions.
- Students applying to exchange programs at CGU’s overseas partner universities are currently undergoing internal preliminary review by the respective colleges and the Office of International Affairs (OIA). No separate application for the MOE scholarship is required.
- Students independently applying to non-partner institutions must contact Ms. Wan-Wen Lin (OIA) by January 31, 2026.

- Study Abroad Scholarship for Economically Disadvantaged Students: Selection of outstanding, economically disadvantaged students to study for academic credits abroad. Applicants must submit all materials to the OIA by March 2, 2026. Details: https://www.cgu.edu.tw/oia-ch/Contents?nodeId=15725。
- Overseas Internship Program / New Southbound Policy Overseas Internship Program:
- Internships must last at least 28 consecutive days (or 25 consecutive days in Indonesia), excluding travel time. The maximum subsidy period is one academic year.
- For the Overseas Internship Program, each institution may submit up to ten proposals, and all colleges must establish a priority ranking (ranking not required for the New Southbound Policy program).
- Principal Investigators (full-time faculty) shall submit proposals through their departments and colleges by the end of January (extended if the deadline falls on a holiday).
- Colleges shall complete reviews by the end of February (extended if the deadline falls on a holiday) and submit approved proposals and rankings to the OIA.
- The OIA will convene a university-level review meeting by March 10, 2026 (extended if the deadline falls on a holiday).
- Principal Investigators are kindly requested to contact the designated university coordinator in advance to activate system access.
