Step 1: Notary (local courts)
Items Description
Required Documents
  1. Passport, ARC, original degree/transcript. You must apply for verification in person.
  2. If you are in Taiwan, but cannot apply for verification in person. You can authorize another person to complete the procedures for you. Authorization letter is required.
  3. If you leave Taiwan before verification application, make sure the authorization letter is notarized before you leave. Or you can have the authorization letter authenticated by the Taipei Representative Office in your country and then send it back to your agent.

Remarks

The fee is NTD 750 for one document.

Notes: You can have more than one copy to be notarized (even the copied files), and it will cost you NTD 750 for one copy. There will be a form for you to fill out at the Notary Office, and the form costs NTD 6.

 Taiwan Taoyuan District Court Zhongli Summary Court

  • Address: No.388, Sec. 2, Zhonghua Rd., Zhongli Dist., Taoyuan City 32069
  • Transportation: Please take Formosa Fairway #2004 (from Taoyuan Chang Gung Bus Terminal, near Chang Gung Mermorial Hospital) to Zhongli and get off at the Zhongli Summary Court stop. The bus stop for your return trip to Taoyuan Chang Gung Bus Terminal is directly across the road. For other routes, please refer to Google Maps.
  • Service Hours: 8:30-12:30 AM (Monday to Fiday)

 Taiwan Taoyuan District Court

  • Address: No. 888, Zhengguang Rd., Taoyuan Dist., Taoyuan City 30060
  • Transportation: Please take Taoyuan Bus Company #702 or #711 (from Taoyuan Chang Gung Bus Terminal, near Chang Gung Memorial Hospital) to Taoyuan and get off at the Daxing W. & Zhengguang Rd. Intersection stop. Then walk along Zhengguang Road to the Taoyuan District Court. The bus stop for your return trip to Taoyuan Chang Gung Bus Terminal is directly across the road.
