  1. Passport, ARC, original degree/transcript. You must apply for verification in person.
  2. If you are in Taiwan, but cannot apply for verification in person. You can authorize another person to complete the procedures for you. Authorization letter is required.
  3. If you leave Taiwan before verification application, make sure the authorization letter is notarized before you leave. Or you can have the authorization letter authenticated by the Taipei Representative Office in your country and then send it back to your agent.

The fee is NTD 750 for one document.

Notes: You can have more than one copy to be notarized (even the copied files), and it will cost you NTD 750 for one copy. There will be a form for you to fill out at the Notary Office, and the form costs NTD 6.

  • Transportation: Please take Formosa Fairway #2004 (from Taoyuan Chang Gung Bus Terminal, near Chang Gung Mermorial Hospital) to Zhongli and get off at the Zhongli Summary Court stop. Verification via the MOE Digital Diploma Verification System

With the advance of the digital age, the use level of certificates has gradually expanded, as well as the demand for verifying certificates has also increased.To provide a fast, convenient, and reliable verification mechanism for digital certificates, the Ministry of Education, Republic of China (Taiwan) built a Digital Diploma Verification System for national colleges and universities in 2020. Furthermore, the teacher certificates will be involved in the certificate digitization program in 2023 as well. In the planning of transformation, it is expected that this system, allows the academic circles and business circles to quickly verify all kinds of certificates.

What's the feature of digital certificate?
  • The digital certificate is an official and legal electronic document.
  • The digital certificate is a high resolution color image of the actual diploma, which helps us authenticity identifying even more faster.
  • The digital certificate is complementary as your original certificate, that holder can use it even more convenience, as well as safely.

Verification by Chang Gung University

If a graduate of Chang Gung University requires verification of their academic credentials for purposes such as further education or employment, the requesting institution may contact the Office of Academic Affairs via email at acade@mail.cgu.edu.tw.
