We aim to provide an international learning environment, pursue research excellence, and align with industries in biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, semiconductor technology, and nanomaterials.

In response to the trends of the digital era, we are promoting college-wide learning of artificial intelligence and programming languages to strengthen the cultivation of industry talent and broaden students' skills and perspectives. Our teaching efforts focus on interdisciplinary integration, creating a learning environment and micro-courses that foster cross-disciplinary education. We provide well-equipped and flexible learning spaces to help students face future career development challenges.

The evolution of the technological world has progressed from electrification, digitization, and networking to today's era of intelligence. The Department of Artificial Intelligence aims to provide foundational education for AI talent, in response to the global trend of AI applications across various disciplines and industries. The department is part of the independently established College of Intelligent Computing. It boasts numerous full-time professors specializing in AI theory and intelligent engineering, as well as several joint professors with expertise spanning across disciplines, colleges, and international boundaries.
