【2026 First Admission】Announcement of Confirmed Enrollment List
The admission list for the first phase of 2026 admission for overseas compatriot, Hong Kong, and Macau students was announced on February 3, 2026. After compiling the responses regarding the willingness to enroll, the confirmed enrollment list is attached. Chang Gung University will dispatch the confirmed enrollment list to the Ministry of Education, the Overseas Community Affairs Council, the National Immigration Agency, the University Entrance Committee for Overseas compatriot students, and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hong Kong and Macau, facilitating these agencies in processing subsequent tasks such as issuing entry permits.

【2026 First admission】Announcement of Admission List
The admission qualifications of admitted students (including both admitted and waitlisted students) under the overseas compatriot student category have been reviewed and approved by the Overseas Community Affairs Council in Official Letter No. 1150500014 dated January 6, 2026. The qualifications of Hong Kong and Macau students have been reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Education in Official Letter No. 1152500511 dated February 2, 2026. For the first phase of 2026 admission for overseas compatriot, Hong Kong, and Macau students, the admission results have been evaluated and determined by the admissions committee, and the list of admitted students is attached. By February 13, 2026 (23:59, Taiwan Time), all admitted and waitlisted applicants must log in to the CGU Online application system and select "Accept this offer" or "Decline." Applicants who fail to respond by the specified deadline will have their admission eligibility revoked. No late confirmations, appeals, or requests for reconsideration will be accepted. Any resulting vacancies will be filled in accordance with the departmental waiting list order. The confirmed list of enrollments will be announced on February 25, 2026, and submitted to the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Compatriot Students, which will not redistribute students in this batch. The students listed on the confirmed admission list will receive official admission letters from Chang Gung University. Admitted students must prepare all required documents and register in person according to the instructions in the admission letter. Failure to provide all necessary documents or to submit documents verified by the relevant overseas agency within the deadline will result in the cancellation of admission.

Admission Information for International Students Fall Semester (1st round) 2026-2027 Academic Year Admitted applicants MUST confirm your admission in the CGU Admissions System by February 6, 2026. Those who fail to reply by the deadline will lose their admission and their position. The admission letter will be issued only after the applicant confirms their intention to enroll. Admitted applicants MUST provide one photocopy of their graduation certificate and transcript with Original Authentication in Chinese or English by R.O.C (Taiwan) Overseas Embassies & Missions in the country of the original school. Please complete the Submission Form and upload the authenticated documents by August 14, 2026. Students who fail to comply with this requirement will NOT be allowed to enroll or defer their studies. Individual acceptance letters will be sent via email after CGU receives your reply to the CGU Admissions System. A severe fire occurred at Kwong Fuk Estate in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong on November 26, resulting in significant casualties. Announcement of Admission Guideline for Overseas Compatriot Students and Students from Hong Kong and Macau Applying to University in Taiwan for the 2026-2027 Academic Year
I. The relevant admission Guidelines for the 2026-2027 Academic Year across various regions have been announced. The key amendments are as follows: (A) General Amendments Common to All Guidelines: Application for Alien Resident Certificate (ARC): Added reminder text stating that applicants who were originally registered in Mainland China or hold a Mainland Chinese passport must submit proof of residency abroad for four years or more and documentation confirming the cancellation of their Mainland Chinese household registration and passport. Revision of Departure Requirements: Amended the text to state: "If an admitted student does not register upon arrival in Taiwan, or subsequently applies for a leave of absence or withdrawal, the grounds for residency will cease, and the student must depart from Taiwan in accordance with the regulations set by the National Immigration Agency (NIA) of the Ministry of the Interior." (B) Amendments Specific to the Hong Kong and Macau Region Guideline: Visa Requirement Reminder: Reminded admitted students to enter Taiwan with a Study Visa (Resident Visa). Stateless ROC National Status: Added text stating: "Individuals who hold the status of a National without Household Registration in the Taiwan Area should enter and exit the country using a Republic of China (ROC) Passport." Joint Placement System for Hong Kong Bachelor Programs: Revised the Joint Placement system for Hong Kong Bachelor programs to allow graduates of Chinese-language secondary schools or foreign-language secondary schools in Mainland China to also include the results of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) for consideration in the "Joint Placement" assessment. Academic Credential Verification: Supplemented the explanation regarding academic credential verification, stating that it should be processed according to the rules of the admitting university. II.
