Application Procedure

  1. Online registration: https://recruit-intl.cgu.edu.tw/.
    First, register an account and check your email to set your password. After logging in, select your program and complete the application form online step by step.
    • CGU will contact applicants solely via email, applicants must provide a valid and frequently used email address to avoid delays.
    • Admission review will be conducted based on written documents, and if necessary, through phone or video interviews.
  2. Programs selection: Please note that you may apply for one department only.
  3. Document preparation and upload: All required documents must be uploaded and submitted before the online application deadline.
  4. Submit!

Fees: TWD $1,600 (USD$50)
  • Unpaid applications will not be processed.
  • Once the payment is made, it is not refundable. Please upload the payment receipt on the online application website after the transfer has been made. (DO NOT SEND CASH)
  • The application fee cannot be waived for any reason, including when applying for the CGU scholarship.

Application Notes and Regulations

  1. To verify whether applicants meet the qualifications under the "Regulations Regarding Study and Counseling Assistance for Overseas Compatriot Students Returning to Taiwan" or the "Regulations Regarding Study for Hong Kong and Macau Residents in Taiwan", certain personal data will be transmitted to the Overseas Community Affairs Council, Ministry of Education, National Immigration Agency, and the Joint Admissions Committee for Overseas Compatriot Students. The agencies may access applicants’ entry and exit records to conduct verification.
  2. Applicants or admitted students who are found by the Overseas Community Affairs Council or the Ministry of Education not to meet the identity qualifications, or whose submitted documents are false, forged, borrowed, altered, or whose academic credentials are invalid, will be dealt with as follows:
    1. Applicants not yet enrolled will have their application or admission canceled.
    2. Students already enrolled will have their student status revoked and will not be issued any academic transcripts or certificates.
    3. Graduates found in violation after graduation will have their graduation status revoked, and their diploma will be rescinded or canceled.
  3. Applicants who fall under any of the following categories are not eligible to apply for admission to Taiwan under this prospectus. Those who violate the regulations shall have their admission qualification revoked; if already enrolled, they shall be expelled and their student status annulled:
    1. Students who have previously studied (or graduated) from a senior high school in Taiwan.
    2. Individuals who have previously applied for admission to Taiwan as international students, been accepted, and enrolled.
    3. Individuals who have renounced Republic of China (Taiwan) nationality with official approval but have not yet obtained foreign nationality.
    4. Individuals who submit forged, fraudulent, or altered documents or passports (considered an illegal act).
    5. Admitted applicants whose identity and eligibility are later found inconsistent with regulations upon review by the Overseas Community Affairs Council or the Ministry of Education.
