The Language & Culture PLUS program is a two-week summer experience that includes 32 hours of English language instruction, 28 hours of themed modules, and 37 hours of cultural excursions. Students may choose from topics such as STEM, Business, Digital Design/Art, or American Culture. Participants should have at least a CEFR B1 English level (proof by TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo score, or take UWM's online English test). Cultural activities include a Chicago day trip, American family dinner, outdoor movie night, and volunteer experience. Accommodation is provided in UWM's on-campus double rooms with private bathrooms and kitchens. The estimated program cost is around USD $3,000 (as of late 2025), covering tuition, housing, local transportation, cultural excursions, and access to the fitness center. |
