Wugu Shuidui Scenery Park

📍 Location: No. 2號, Wailiao Rd, Wugu District, New Taipei City, 248

Nestled in the suburban charm of New Taipei City, Wugu Shuidui Scenery Park is a serene escape that blends nature with serene views. Its unique "level-by-level" design gradually takes you to higher ground, rewarding you with a panoramic view of the city. Whether you visit during the day for scenic landscapes or stay into the night to stargaze, this park is the perfect getaway without the hassle of a long trip.

Spanning 10.5 hectares, this park offers more than just stunning views. Shaded hiking, biking, and jogging trails weave through lush greenery, providing a relaxing escape. How to Get There from CGU to Wugu Shuidui Scenery Park?
  1. Start at CGU and head to A7 NTSU MRT Station.
    • Take the MRT from A7 NTSU (Chang Gung University) to A6 Taishan Guihe Station (Ming Chi University of Technology).
  2. Exit the MRT and walk to the nearby bus stop.
    • Walk for about 4 minutes (260 meters) to the bus stop near Taishan Guihe Station on Mingzhi Road.
  3. Take Bus 637 to Wugu Station.
    • Board Bus 637 heading towards 五股站 (Wugu Station).
    • Stay on the bus for 22 minutes (approximately 19 stops).
  4. Get off at the Military Police School stop.
    • The stop is located near Wugu District.
  5. Walk to Shuidui Park.
    • Walk for about 13 minutes (700 meters) to Shuidui Park at No. 2, Wailiao Rd, Wugu District, New Taipei City.

How to Get to Dongyanshan National Forest Recreation Area from CGU?

  1. Start at Chang Gung University.
    • Walk about 5 minutes (350 meters) to the nearest bus stop at Chang Gung University.
  2. Take Bus 5065 (via Dapu 桃園客運桃園總站).
    • Board the bus and travel for 37 minutes (29 stops).
    • Get off at the Jianguo Road Intersection stop.
  3. Walk to the next bus stop (Jianguo Road).
    • Walk for about 1 minute to the nearby bus stop.
  4. Take Bus 5096 (via Gengliaojiao 桃園客運大溪總站).
    • Board the bus and travel for 44 minutes (37 stops).
    • Get off at the Taoyuan Bus Daxi Terminal Station.
  5. Transfer to Bus 506 (Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Dongyan Mountain Line 東眼山國家森林遊樂區)
    • Board the bus and travel for 48 minutes (12 stops).
    • Get off at the Dongyanshan Country Forest Recreation Area (Drop-Off Bus Stop).

How to Get to Thousand Island from CGU?

  1. Start at A7 NTSU MRT Station.
    • Take the MRT from A7 NTSU (Chang Gung University) to A1 Taipei Main Station.
  2. Switch to the Green Line (Songshan-Xindian).
    • Transfer at Taipei Main Station to the Green Line and ride to Xindian Station.
  3. Take the Green #12 Bus.
    • Exit Xindian Station and board the Green #12 bus heading to Shiding (石碇).
    • Get off at the Shisangu (Thirteen Shares) bus stop.
  4. Walk to Thousand Island Lake.
    • From the bus stop, walk down the hill for about 10 minutes to reach the first viewing platform.
