For Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macau students

Incoming students from Hong Kong, Macau, and Overseas Chinese students should refer to the Office of Student Affairs for pre-arrival guidance.

Important Entry Information

Plant and animal quarantine: Travelers are strictly forbidden to bring the following items into Taiwan: Fresh fruit and vegetables. Plant or animal products for which prior authorization has not been obtained (includes live animals, meat products, live plants). DO NOT IMPORT MEAT ILLEGALLY FROM ABROAD.

  • Dorm Essentials: Only bed & desk provided. Bring bedding, pillow, toiletries, etc.

  1. Graduate students: starting from August 6
  2. Undergraduate students: starting from August 15
Online Course Selection
  1. Preliminary:
    9 AM, August 25 to 11:59 PM, August 27
  2. Phase 1:
    9 AM, September 1 to 11:59 PM, September 12
  3. Phase 2:
    12 AM, September 15 to 11:59 PM, September 19
Class starts September 1 (Monday)
Registration Deadline September 12 (Friday)
Remarks:
  1. If the student fails to register as required shall have their acceptance to the university rescinded.
  2. You can move into the dormitory during the suggested arrival days.

Suspension

For newly admitted students who cannot register for 2025 Spring due to serious illnesses or special circumstances, such as military service, pregnancy, or parenting (under the age of three), they may apply to suspension before their semester begins.
