Mid-Autumn One-Day Trip｜Mooncake DIY x Old Street Exploration

The Mid-Autumn Festival is just around the corner!
As one of Taiwan’s most cherished traditional holidays symbolizing reunion and togetherness, it is the perfect occasion to celebrate with families and friends.

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) warmly invites all students to join us for an exciting cross-cultural day trip!

【Cultural Exchange & Event Purpose】
To promote meaningful connections between local and international students, participants will be placed in mixed groups.
Note: Since the DIY workshop will be conducted in Chinese, local students will join as cultural buddies to support international students and encourage interaction.

【Trip Highlights】
  • Kuo Yuan Ye Museum of Cake and Pastry (Yangmei Branch): Enjoy a hands-on pastry DIY workshop and learn about the vibrant history behind traditional Taiwanese festive treats!
  • Daxi Old Street Exploration: Stroll along historic street with Baroque-style architecture and taste famous local delicacies such as dried tofu, Taiwanese braised dishes, and peanut brittle.
【Event Information】
  • Date: Friday, September 25, 2026
  • Eligibility: All currently enrolled CGU students
  • Capacity: 30 international students & 10 local students (May expand up to 60 international & 20 local students based on registration numbers)
  • Fee: FREE (Covers round-trip bus transportation, insurance, DIY workshop fees, and entrance tickets)
📌Note: Personal purchases (e.g., lunch, snacks, souvenirs) or individual transportation costs are not included.

  • Selected & Wait-list announcement: September 15 (Tue) 5:00 PM (All applicants will receive an email notification)
📌Selected participants are required to submit insurance details and a NT$300 deposit within the designated period to confirm their spot.
📌The deposit will be fully refunded upon full participation and submission of the post-event feedback form.
