University of Belize Regional Language Center English Course Scholarship

The Ministry of Education has forwarded information regarding the English Course Scholarship offered by the Regional Language Center, University of Belize. Eligible students who are interested in enhancing their English proficiency through overseas study are encouraged to apply.

The Government of Belize and the University of Belize will offer the Certificate in English as a Second Language (CESL) Scholarship Program from January to October 2027. A total of 8 scholarship places are available for eligible Taiwanese applicants to study English at the Regional Language Center, University of Belize.

The scholarship covers tuition and fees. In addition, each recipient will receive a monthly living allowance of BZD 600, approximately USD 300.

Scholarship Information
  1. Application Period: April 20 to July 31, 2026.
  2. Eligibility: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, hold valid Taiwanese nationality, and have completed senior high school education or above.
  3. Expected Arrival Date in Belize: January 11, 2027.
  4. Program Period: January to October 2027.
  5. Application Method: Interested applicants should submit the application form and required documents by email to admissions@ub.edu.bz and rlcinfo@ub.edu.bz within the application period.
