2026 Summer Internship Program in Mainland China – Applications Open Until June 10.

To provide our students with summer internship opportunities, help them accumulate practical experience, enhance professional skills, explore career paths early, and broaden their international horizons, we are launching the "2026 Summer Internship Program in Mainland China". We welcome interested students to apply.

Internship Information

Internship Period:
  • Taiping Life Insurance: July 18 to August 7, 2026.
  • Other 8 Host Institutions: July 13 to July 31, 2026.
Benefits & Allowances:
Accommodation, three meals, and an internship stipend (RMB 100 per person per working day) will be provided by the host institutions.

Safety Reminders for Internships in Mainland ChinaImportant Safety Reminders for Students Heading to Mainland China for Internships: Students planning to undertake internships in Mainland China should be aware that mainland authorities have significantly expanded and revised their national security laws in recent years. These laws explicitly grant law enforcement officers the authority to inspect travelers' personal belongings and electronic devices, including mobile phones and computers. Students are advised to carefully evaluate the necessity of traveling to Mainland China and to exercise caution in their words and actions while there. All exchange activities should adhere to the principles of equality and dignity, and students must strictly avoid any political content or purposes. Before departure, you are required to register your travel itinerary through the Mainland Affairs Council's (MAC) "Registration System for Taiwanese Citizens Traveling to Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau" ([Link]). In the event of an emergency while abroad, please immediately contact the Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) Emergency Service Hotline at +886-2-25339995 for official assistance.   1. Expense Responsibility: Participating students must bear their own round-trip airfare and administrative fees for processing entry documents.
  2. Subsidy Restrictions: This program does not comply with the regulations of the "Chang Gung University Guidelines for Subsidizing Students Participating in Short-term Credit Courses or International Exchanges." Therefore, the university will not provide any financial subsidies for this program
  3. Document Application: Selected students must independently apply for and handle their own entry documents (Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents / Taipaozhen).
  4. Accommodation: To be arranged by the host institution.
  5. Applicants must complete and submit the 'Student Affidavit for the Summer Internship Program in Mainland China' and the 'Parent or Guardian Consent Form' (as attached in Appendices 5-6), and upload their 'Transcript for the 1st Semester of Academic Year 114 (including class ranking/total class size)' to officially complete the application process.

  7. Please complete the registration form and upload all required documents by June 10. Late submissions or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
  8. Announcement of Results: The results are expected to be announced on the Office of International Affairs (OIA) website in early July. Please note that the actual announcement date is subject to the review progress of the Bureau of Economic Development in the Mainland Area; therefore, the release of the admission list may be advanced or postponed accordingly.
