- The JAL Scholarship Program invites college students from across Asia and Oceania to Japan every year and provides them with opportunities for workshops and cultural interchange. Through these activities, the Program aims to enhance their understanding beyond national borders. This program consists of 7 days of online training and 15 days of on-site training in Japan, for a total duration of 22 days.
- Period: June 25 to July 16, 2026 (22days)
- Online program: June 25 to July 1, 2026 (7 days).
- Real Program (visit Japan): July 2 to July 16, 2026 (15 days).(Training locations: Tokyo Metropolis and Wakayama Prefecture.)
- Number of Selected Candidates: 2.
- Requirements:
- Have an interest in Japan, the SDGs, environmental protection, and social issues. Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students and remain enrolled at the time of participation in the program in 2026.
- Aged between 20 and 25, and a citizen of the Republic of China (ROC). Neither the applicant nor their parents may be native Japanese speakers.
- Good conduct, sound physical health, a proactive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset are required.

A passing result at JLPT N2 or above (including N2) is required.
- Process of application:

Please submit the completed application form (four pages, in Japanese), the consent form, and a copy of a JLPT N2 or above certificate to Ms. Hsu at the Office of International Affairs by 12:00 PM on February 2, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted. Up to three outstanding candidates (including graduate students) will be nominated.
- Interview date and location: Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Details will be announced by the organizer via email.
- Expenses: The following expenses, not including participant's personal expenses (e.g. telephone and souvenirs), will be paid by the JAL Foundation and supporting organizations.
- Economy class airfare on Japan Airlines between Tokyo and the airport nearest to the participant student’s residence served by JAL.
- All transportation in Japan during the official program, including domestic air to cities outside Tokyo.
- ALL accommodations and meals (or as a per diem)
- Travelers’ accident insurance
