Call for Applications of NSTC International Internship Pilot Program

- To attract foreign research talent to Taiwan and strengthen its research workforce, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) has commissioned NARLabs to implement this internship program.
- Key program details:
- Application Deadline: September 15, 2025.
- Positions Available: 600 internship spots.
- Duration: The internship duration is arranged by the principal investigator (PI), with a minimum of 28 days and a maximum of 3 months (90 days).
- Application Process: Both PI and foreign students must register and apply via the program website (https://iipp.tw/).
- Internship Guidelines: PI must guide interns, promote interaction with Taiwanese students, and introduce them to Taiwan's culture. Interns will participate in research aligned with the project’s focus.
- Subsidies:
- Foreign Students: Monthly stipend of NT$30,000.
- PI: For each intern hosted, the PI may receive up to NT$10,000, based on the lecture hourly fee schedule. In principle, each PI may supervise no more than two interns at the same time. Exception may be granted due to nationality diversification concern.
