Chang Gung University Conference Room Charging Standards
2. On-campus colleges and departments: For seminars or conferences organized by these units, usage is subject to special approval.
3. On-campus administrative and departmental units: For events co-organized with external units, usage will be charged at 50% of the standard rate after special approval.
4. Student organizations, camps, and faculty renting university facilities: If approved through official channels, they will be charged at 50% of the standard rate.
5. Corporate departments: For renting various university facilities, if approved through official channels, they will be charged at 50% of the standard rate.
6. External units: For renting various university facilities, charges are based on hourly rates. A 10% discount applies for continuous rentals of two time slots, and an 15% discount applies for full-day rentals.

Q2: What is the process for applying to use a Conference Room? |

Q3: How can I borrow keys and microphones for the Conference Room? |
After application and review are completed, please go to the Security Office on the 2nd floor of the First Medical Building about 20 minutes before the meeting to borrow the keys and microphones. When returning the items, remember to retrieve your identification. |
Q4: What are the Charging Standards for external renting Conference Room? |

Q5: What should I do if there is an equipment malfunction during the meeting? |
1.If an abnormal situation occurs, please immediately notify the Conference Room Response Person to handle the issue. 2.The school’s meeting rooms have designated personnel responsible for management and maintenance. For large events, the manager will provide full assistance as needed. 3.If this is your first time using the meeting room, please consult with the manager before the meeting to familiarize yourself with the equipment operation. |
Q6: Is eating or drinking allowed inside the Conference Room? |
To maintain cleanliness and manage equipment, eating and drinking are prohibited inside the Conference Room. |
Q7: What should I do if the microphone stops working suddenly during use? |
First, check if the batteries in the microphone are dead. If so, replace them with the spare batteries from the borrowing kit. If the microphone still does not work, contact the Conference Room Response Person . After office hours and on weekends, please contact the Security Team (Ext. 5000) for assistance. |
Q8: If I left personal belongings in the Conference Room after the meeting, how can I retrieve it? |
Please first check with the Security Office to see if anyone has found the item, or go with the Conference Room Response Person to search for it in the meeting room. |
Q9: Can I set up the room before the event if I am borrowing the Conference room? |
You may set up the room before the event as long as it does not affect the normal use of the meeting room, and with the approval of the Conference room manager. |
Q10: If I only need to use the plaza outside the Engineering Building for an event, do I still need to book the Conference rooms? |
If the outdoor event may affect the meeting rooms, you will need to book both Conference Rooms (1) and (2) as well. |
Q11: What should I do if the meeting room chairs are broken or insufficient? |
Please contact the Conference room manager to address the issue. |
