Introduction

◾The male staff single dormitories are located on B1-B3 of Yunde Building, while the female staff single dormitories are located on floors 1-12 at the rear of Yunde Building (see attached diagram).
◾Applications are open to all internal faculty and staff, full-time contract personnel, full-time research assistants, and others approved by the university president.
◾Eligible individuals may apply for single dormitory accommodation upon completing registration at the Personnel Office.
◾The male staff dormitories can accommodate 4 people per room, while the female staff dormitories can accommodate 2 or 3 people per room.
◾Accommodation fees are categorized as 500, 700, or 900 NTD per month, depending on the applicant, and actual fees are calculated proportionally based on the number of days stayed.

◾If rooms are fully booked, arrangements will be made according to the order of application dates.
◾If there is any damage or malfunction in the room or public areas, please report the issue through the “Campus Information System” → “Repair Request System.”

FAQ

Q: How to Apply for Staff Single Dormitories?
  1. For Full-time Faculty, In-house Staff, Full-time Contract Personnel, and Full-time Research Assistants:

    (1) Please access the “Campus Information System” → Online Approval Management System → Online Forms → Internal Memos → Select “0500-09 Chang Gung University Staff Single Dormitory Application Form” from the list of forms → Submit for approval to the department head or project supervisor.

    (2) Attach a 2-inch photo to the “Staff Single Dormitory Application Form.” Leave the spaces blank for extension number, mobile phone, and frequently used email.

    (3) Sign the “Chang Gung University Staff Single Dormitory Accommodation Guidelines” and affix a personal seal → Submit online for approval to the department head → The Personnel Office and General Affairs Office will handle the application.

  2. For External Personnel:

    (1) For personnel from Chang Gung Memorial Hospital with cooperative projects (in addition to the above form, please attach a personnel change form).

    (2) For individuals approved by the university president (in addition to the above form, please attach the approval documentation).

  3. Fees:

    (1) For in-house staff (full-time faculty, in-house staff), the dormitory fee is 500 NTD per month, deducted from the salary.

    (2) For external staff (full-time contract personnel, research assistants), the dormitory fee is 700 NTD per month, deducted from the salary.

    (3) For external personnel (collaborative institution staff) and those approved by the university president through formal request or business negotiation letters, the dormitory fee is 900 NTD per month. Payment must be made to the university’s cashier by the 5th of each month, and a copy of the payment receipt should be provided to the General Affairs Office for record.

  4. Residents are responsible for maintaining the property and cleanliness of their environment and must adhere to accommodation regulations and electrical safety guidelines. In cases of non-compliance, if the dormitory manager’s warnings are ignored or improvements are not made, the resident may be reported for disciplinary action and may be required to vacate the dormitory.
