研究方向及研究室特色：

自1992年進入長庚大學任教至今(2021年9月10)，已發表期刊論文共388篇，其中英文撰寫佔65.2% (253篇)，中文撰寫佔34.8% (135篇)。屬通訊作者或第一作者，共占44.1%(171篇)。研究方向如下：

1. 大數據分析

自國家釋出全民健保資料庫、癌症登記檔、死因檔、出生通報檔…等資料供學術研究，開始投入台灣國家型資料庫的大數據分析，陸續與不同科別的臨床醫師合作，針對不同醫學研究題目，採用適當研究設計、嚴謹的納入及排除條件、多樣及進階的統計方法，建立真實世界證據(real world evidence, RWE)，提供實務臨床指引。多年來深耕於台灣國家型資料庫的經驗正好趕上大數據時代，很榮幸能持續獲得科技部和長庚研究計畫的經費支持，及國外期刊的論文發表肯定，研究成果豐碩。2011年至2021年9月已發表79篇SCI論文。其中屬通訊作者(29篇)、共同通訊作者(7篇)或第一作者(2篇)，共占48.1%。

2. 公衛研究

與地方政府衛生局合作執行多項公衛研究。委託計畫包括：新生兒健康、臨床醫療人員的工作感受及工作壓力、愛滋防治教育、安寧照護、用藥安全、青少年性行為、健康促進、戒癮更生人、自殺防治、長期照顧注意力不足過動症(ADHD)等。共發表86篇論文(10篇SCI論文) ，其中74篇為中文論文(2篇為TSSCI論文)。

   3. 發展量表

在進行多項公衛研究期間，需設計量表，迄今已發展14種量表並建立其信效度，包括注意力不足過動症知識量表、肝硬化自我照顧知識及行為量表、代謝性症候群防治知識量表、愛滋知識量表、支持美沙冬替代療法量表、支持清潔針具計畫量表、就醫者角度設計的病人安全行為量表、青少年性知識量表、醫療工作的壓力源感受量表、健保總額預算影響醫療工作感受量表、器官捐贈量表、stress index for children or adolescents with Tourette syndrome (SICATS)、 professional attitude of health care workers toward serving HIV/AIDS patients and drug users。我所研發的量表皆獲得期刊發表的肯定，有12篇中文論文(其中2篇為TSSCI論文)和2篇SCI論文，均屬第一及通訊作者(9篇)、第一作者(3篇)、通訊作者(2篇)。更重要的是，其他研究人員在進行相似研究題目時，不須再花時間發展量表，可直接採用，其研究結果也可互相比較。
