Martin J. Blaser 教授為國際知名的微生物體（Microbiome）與感染症研究學者，長期探討人體微生物體、抗生素使用與人類健康之間的關係，並曾擔任美國國家癌症研究院（NCI）及美國國家衛生研究院（NIH）相關科學諮詢職務。
本次演講將從 One Health 的整合觀點，探討抗生素為何被過度使用，以及抗生素使用對人體微生物體與公共衛生所帶來的重要影響。

Professor Martin J. Blaser is an internationally renowned researcher in microbiome science and infectious diseases. His research has focused extensively on the relationships among the human microbiome, antibiotic use, and human health. He has also served in prominent scientific and advisory roles with the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
In this seminar, Professor Blaser will discuss why antibiotics are overused from a One Health perspective, exploring the scientific and public health implications of antibiotic use and its impact on the human microbiome.
