整體教學目標 The research and development of antiviral drugs play a major role in responding the pandemics and epidemics of emerging viruses. This course will introduce students to the CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology and the application of deep learning in protein structure prediction. It allows students to learn how to use high-throughput sequencing and computer simulations to conduct antiviral drug screening and accelerate antiviral drug development, respectively.
教學方法 Lecture slides will be prepared for students and uploaded to CGU’s E-Learning platform. Classes will be conducted in computer laboratory. Consider this is a graduate-level course, literature covering up-to-date research activities in this field will be shared and discussed with students. Final presentation will be conducted for assessing students' comprehension on these subjects. Quiz and homework will be distributed too.
