整體教學目標 Aim to let the attendees have a comprehensive understanding of both the traditional and advanced techniques applied in the studies of the molecular virology
教學方法 Lectures, discussion, and student presentation
課程簡介 以lecture的形式介紹實驗室進行病毒學研究常用的技術以及方法。除了傳統的分生以及生化技術外,也會導入新穎的次世代實驗方法。課程會以病毒的分子檢測為出發點,當我們遭遇未知的病毒感染源,如何快速辨別可能的病原體?除了傳統偵測病毒核酸或是蛋白質表現的分子實驗方法,以及以細胞培養為基礎進行病毒定量以及抗病毒藥物效性的相關實驗外,課程還會討論近年發展出的研究技術如蛋白質、代謝體學,次世代/第三代定序,以及基因篩選/編輯等新穎的技術及其如何應用於病毒以及病毒宿主間交互作用的相關研究成果
