| 整體教學目標 | The main objective of this course is to teach students how to obtain and apply different types of bioinformatics data from the internet. Students will also become proficient in using various bioinformatics software and take advantage of the high-speed computers at the university's bioinformatics center to engage in practical exercises, including hands-on online operations. |
| 教學方法 | There will be two core themes in the class: the analytical techniques that can be used to analyse biological data, and examples of the biological significance of such analyses. These themes will be intertwined within the class, typically with clusters of 1-2 hours that emphasize analytical and algorithmic issues, followed by 2-3 hours of more topical lectures addressing the biological issues addressed by sequence analysis. The central goal of the course will be to train students to think effectively about DNA sequences as a problem in information processing. |
| 課程簡介 | 課程將包括二主要部份(一)講解生物資訊分析的基本原理,(二)配合例子實際操作,學習如何解決序列分析所產生的問題。該課程的中心目標是訓練學生有效地思考如何從序列分析中發現其生物特性。 |
