CGU prioritizes products and services procured locally in Taiwan to reduce carbon emissions associated with long-distance transportation while supporting the development of local supply chains.
Green Procurement
The University prioritizes products carrying environmental, energy-saving, water-saving, and other recognized green labels to reduce the environmental impacts associated with procurement.
Equipment Upgrades
CGU continues to introduce energy-efficient equipment and high-performance systems, including efficient appliances and energy-saving facilities, to improve overall energy efficiency across campus.
Sustainable Procurement Outcomes
Strengthening Local Procurement
From 2023 to 2025, local procurement consistently accounted for more than 98% of total procurement expenditures, reducing transportation-related carbon emissions and supporting local supply chains.
Promoting Green Procurement
CGU prioritizes environmentally certified, energy-efficient, and water-saving products while introducing high-efficiency equipment to continuously enhance the sustainability of campus procurement.
Improving Energy Efficiency
From January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2025, tax rebate applications were completed for 748 energy-efficient appliances, with subsidies totaling NT$1,467,600.
External Recognition
From 2019 to 2025, CGU continuously received recognition from Taoyuan City for outstanding green procurement performance among private enterprises and organizations.
Local Procurement in Taiwan
CGU prioritizes local procurement to reduce carbon emissions associated with overseas transportation and support domestic suppliers and local economic development.
