From 1985 to 1987, he joined the Hua-Eng Company, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where he engaged in research in the area of optical fiber subscriber loops. In 2003, he joined the Faculty of Chang Gung University, Taoyunan, Taiwan, where he is currently Full Professor. He has authored or coauthored more than 60 papers in journals and conferences. He was in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chung Cheng Institute of Technology as a Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor. From 2000 to 2002, he was also the Chairman of the Department. In Fall 2002, he joined the Chang Gung University, where he currently is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Dr. Chang is interested in intelligent control, multiagent systems, and multirobot systems. He has published more than 150 journal and conference papers. He received the Excellent Teaching Award, 1998, and the Excellent Achievement Award, 1999, from the Ministry of National Defense. Dr. Chang is a senior member of IEEE, who is also listed in the Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in Science and Engineering. He is currently a full professor with the department of Electrical Engineering, Chang Gung University, Tao-Yuan, Taiwan. He served as the chairman of the department of Electrical Engineering in CGU from 2002 to 2010, and has been invited to serve as a chairman of Board of Accreditation, Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan (IEET) since 2006, and member of Evaluation Committee for College of Science and Technology, supported by Ministry of Education of Taiwan since 2001. He was also the director of innovation incubator center of Chang Gung University in 2001-2003. His current research interests include image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, consumer electronics and VLSI CAD design. Dr. Lee is an IET Fellow, a senior member of IEEE, and is listed in the Who’s Who in the World, Who's Who in Finance and Industry. He received a number of investigator awards (e.g. from National Science Council, Taiwan, and Acer Foundations, Taiwan), the Excellent Teaching Award, 2002, and the Excellent Research Award, 2003, from the Chang Gung University, Paper Awards from IPPR, Computer Vision and Graphic Image Processing in 2010. He received the Ph.D. degree from the Graduate Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics, National Taiwan University in 2008. After graduation, he became a postdoctoral researcher of the Graduate Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics, National Taiwan University. Since 2009, he joined Department of Electrical Engineering, Chang Gung University as an assistant professor. He is currently an Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, Chang Gung University. He received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taipei, Taiwan, in 1990, 1992, and 1996, respectively. He is now a professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chang Gung University, Taiwan. He has been active in practical problems and has received more than 50 cooperative projects from electric power industries. From 1998 to 2003, he worked as an Associate Researcher in the Telecommunication Laboratories at Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd., Taoyuan, Taiwan, where he investigated related techniques on time and frequency synchronization. From 2004 to 2005, he worked as an associated engineer in the Multimedia Department of Northern Taiwan Business Group, Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd., and was responsible for the construction of Multimedia-On-Demand (MOD) system or interactive TV system. Since 2006, he has been a Faculty Member of Electrical Engineering at Chang Gung University, Taoyuan, Taiwan, where he is currently a Professor. Since 2018, he has also been an Associate Researcher of Neuroscience Research Center, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou, Guishan District, Taoyuan City 33305, Taiwan. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering of Chang Gung University as a professor since 2000. His research interests include cardiopulmonary instrumentation and embedded system design, and  advanced signal analysis of neurophysiological signals and cerebral oxygenation in patients with epilepsy, Parkison’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and stroke. From 1995 to 2007, he was with St. John’s University, Tamsui, Taiwan, where he served as a lecturer, associate professor, and professor, during the time periods of 1995, 2000, and 2006, respectively. Since Feb. 2008, he has been with the Chang Gung University, Taoyuan, Taiwan, where he is currently an associate professor in the department of electrical engineering. From 2005 to 2009, he worked as an Engineer in the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Hsinchu, Taiwan, where he engaged in researches in the area of information security and social network. From 2009, he joined the Faculty of Chang Gung University, where he is currently Assistant Professor. At present, he is interested in information security, wireless security and social network.
