Biography:

Yeong-Hwa Chang ( 張永華 ) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Chung Cheng Institute of Technology, Tao-Yuan, Taiwan, the M.S. degree in control engineering from National Chiao-Tung University, Hsin-Chu, Taiwan, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, USA, in 1982, 1987, and 1995, respectively.

He was in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chung Cheng Institute of Technology as a Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor. From 2000 to 2002, he was also the Chairman of the Department. In Fall 2002, he joined the Chang Gung University, where he currently is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Dr. Chang is interested in intelligent control, multiagent systems, and multirobot systems. He has published more than 150 journal and conference papers. He received the Excellent Teaching Award, 1998, and the Excellent Achievement Award, 1999, from the Ministry of National Defense. Dr. Chang is a senior member of IEEE, who is also listed in the Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in Science and Engineering.
