Seminar Title:
Macrophages, Chronic Diseases and Aging

Professor Jianzhu Chen is a member of the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, Professor of Biology at MIT, and an Associate Member of the Broad Institute. He is also a Principal Investigator at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART). His research spans immunology, cancer biology, infectious diseases, and animal models of human diseases. In recent years, his work has focused on the development of tumor-specific CAR-NK cells and the reprogramming of macrophages for disease intervention, including cancer, metabolic disorders, and infectious diseases. His contributions to biomedical research have been widely recognized through numerous awards and honors, including election as an AAAS Fellow.
