Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP)
In 2015, Taiwan's Ministry of Education launched the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) to encourage more international students to participate in short-term professional internship projects organized by Taiwanese universities and colleges. TEEP also allows international students to gain an in-depth educational experience in Taiwan, while also preparing themselves for the Asian job market.The College of Medicine at Chang Gung University has many professors participating in TEEP, with research fields covering Nanomedicine, Inflammatory Disease, Biosensors, Cancer, Disease Prediction, Virology, Stem Cell Biology, Chinese Medicine, and more. Students can freely choose their research topics of interest and directly contact the project supervisors. Chang Gung University also provides ample dormitory accommodations. Therefore, we sincerely welcome international students to apply for TEEP and join us at Chang Gung University for a short-term internship.
- Eligibility: Overseas Chinese students and international students (high school graduates and above), excluding those who have already earned a doctoral degree or are currently studying or conducting research in Taiwan.
- Duration: The internship should last between 2 and 6 months.
- Allowance: Participants may receive a monthly stipend of up to NT$15,000 for a maximum of 6 months.
International Internship Pilot Program (IIPP)
For international students to experience Taiwan's strengths in the field of S&T, National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) provides the international internship pilot program (IIPP) to attract global talents. Furthermore, NSTC expect some of these interns will engage in advanced studies or start a career in Taiwan. Thus, IIPP could enrich the human resource of key scientific research fields in Taiwan.The College of Medicine at Chang Gung University also has professors offering vacancies under the IIPP program. Students can freely choose their research topics of interest and directly contact the project supervisors. Chang Gung University also offers ample dormitory accommodations. Therefore, we sincerely welcome international students to apply for IIPP and come to Chang Gung University for a short-term internship.
- Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate students of foreign nationalities studying abroad. Applicants should have expertise in Taiwan's key science and technology fields, including humanities and social sciences.
- Duration: The internship should last between 28 and 90 days.
- Allowance: NT$1,000 per intern per day, with a maximum duration of 90 days per person.
