A Tradeoff Between Enterovirus A71 Particle Stability and Cell Entry

Professor Raul Andino is a distinguished faculty member at the University of California, San Francisco and a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. He leads a research group that has made significant contributions to the study of RNA viruses. His research focuses on the evolution of RNA viruses, live-virus vaccines, RNA-based therapeutic strategies, and antiviral drug development.
