【轉公告】石文玲獎學金 2026 年度申請開放｜Shi Wen-Ling Scholarship 2026 Now Accepting Applications
財團法人黃達夫醫學教育促進基金會 (Andrew T. Huang Medical Education Promotion Fund) 謹此通知，「石文玲獎學金 2026 年度」即將開放申請。敬請貴單位惠予轉知相關校友、住院醫師、PGY 及對研究所進修有興趣之年輕醫師。
本獎學金旨在資助臺灣各醫學系畢業未滿數年、年齡未滿 35 歲之年輕醫師，赴美國史丹佛大學 (Stanford University) 或杜克大學 (Duke University) 攻讀健康政策、臨床研究或生醫倫理等相關領域之碩士學位，培育未來臺灣醫療領導人才。
■ 獎學金內容
每位獲獎者享有以下完整支持：
史丹佛或杜克大學申請輔導
在台 6 個月之行前準備期
18 個月於上述兩校之碩士學程資助
學雜費、生活津貼、來回機票及專屬師資指導
每位獲獎者最高補助新台幣 500 萬元
截至目前，本獎學金歷屆獲獎者皆順利錄取史丹佛或杜克。
■ 申請資格與精神
凡近年自臺灣醫學系畢業、對未來職涯方向尚在思索中者，皆誠摯歡迎申請。本獎學金不要求申請者已具備發表論文紀錄，亦不要求具備明確之研究方向。我們所尋找的是：對臨床醫學以外之醫療系統問題具有真誠之關懷，並願意培養領導與研究能力以應對挑戰之年輕醫師。
■ 現任獎學金學者簡介
本屆獲獎者涵蓋多元專科背景，包括：研究多模態疾病預測之新生兒科醫師、研究癌症照護價值之婦癌科醫師、投入神經科技倫理之神經科學醫師、量化急診不平等之急診科醫師、研究外科職業健康之眼科醫師、致力於台灣腎臟病指引發展之腎臟科醫師，以及推動價值導向預防醫學之家庭醫學科醫師。彼等共同之處非專科背景，而是願意自臨床第一線退一步，思考醫療體系運作之根本問題。

2026 秋季：審查與錄取通知
2026 年底 ~ 2027 年初：獲獎者準備史丹佛及杜克申請

The Andrew T. Huang Medical Education Promotion Fund is pleased to share that the Shi Wen-Ling Scholarship is now accepting applications for the 2026 cycle. Please send this to someone who would benefit from this scholarship!
The scholarship is for recent Taiwan medical school graduates (<35 years old) who want to pursue graduate study at Stanford or Duke. We're looking for early-career physicians who are serious about healthcare leadership in Taiwan and want graduate training in health policy, clinical research, or bioethics to help them get there.
What the scholarship offers
Each scholar receives application support to Stanford or Duke, six months of preparation in Taiwan, and 18 months of funded study at one of the two universities. The scholarship covers tuition, a living stipend, airfare, and dedicated faculty mentorship. Total support reaches up to NTD $5,000,000 per scholar. Every scholar we've selected so far has been admitted to Stanford or Duke.
Who should apply
If you graduated from a Taiwan medical school in the past few years and you're thinking about what comes next, we'd love for you to apply. You don't need to have everything figured out. You don't need a publication record. What we're looking for is a real interest in solving the kinds of healthcare problems that aren't going to be solved by clinical training alone, and the openness to develop the leadership and research skills to take them on.
Our current cohort includes a neonatologist working on multimodal disease prediction, a gynecologic oncologist studying value in cancer care, a physician-neuroscientist working on neurotech ethics, an emergency physician quantifying ED disparities, an ophthalmologist studying occupational health in surgical practice, a nephrologist focused on guideline development for Taiwan, and a family medicine physician focused on value-based prevention. The common thread isn't the specialty. It's the willingness to step back from clinical practice and ask harder questions about how the system works.
