Invitation for Full-Time Faculty Positions

Chang Gung University (CGU), Taiwan, invites applications from highly qualified international candidates for full-time faculty positions at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor ranks in the Department of Electrical Engineering, with anticipated start dates in August 2026 or February 2027. A total of 4 positions are available, with the possibility of additional appointments for exceptionally qualified candidates. Appointment rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

1. Position Requirements

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering. Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong potential for excellence in research, teaching, and academic service.

2. Research Areas

Preferred research areas include, but are not limited to:

IC Design
Next generation 5G communications
Power Electronics

3. Starting Date

August 1, 2026, or February 1, 2027

4. Compensation

Chang Gung University offers an internationally competitive compensation package commensurate with qualifications and professional experience.

4. Three letters of recommendation (to be sent directly to the department by the referees)

5. Reprints of publications and a complete publication list

6. A statement of future research plans
