Advancing International Sustainability and Social Innovation Education – Driving and Resisting Forces in Practice

To expand the impact of social responsibility, our university's Office of Sustainable Development has invited Associate Professor Yuan Ming-Hao from China Medical University to share insights on international sustainability and social innovation. The lecture will focus on the Creative Ideation Lab (I-Lab) and its proposal, "Cultivating International Talent for Sustainable Innovation in a Super-Aged and Resilient Society." This proposal received funding from the Ministry of Education’s Youth Development Administration as part of the 113th International Sustainable and Social Innovation Talent Cultivation Pilot Program.

The program aims to nurture student teams capable of developing sustainability-driven and internationally collaborative social innovation solutions, envisioning a resilient Taiwan in a super-aged society. This lecture will feature the I-Lab lead, who will discuss the driving and resisting forces encountered in advancing international sustainability and social innovation education.

Through faculty learning community exchanges, we hope to guide our university toward global University Social Responsibility (USR)!
