個人化精準醫療已成為對疾病早期診斷與控制之重要方向,經考量個體間差異與病灶組織異質性(Heterogeneity)等因素,我們運用系統生物學的策略整合多種體學(Multi-omics)的數據來區分病人族群,並以單細胞多體學技術(Single Cell Omics Technique)來提升對於疾病機制的了解,同時也探討胞外體(Extracellular Vesicles)在其中扮演的角色。再藉由不同體學數據間的相互比對與驗證,找尋可用於早期偵測與監控疾病的生物標誌(Biomarker)。
然而高鑑別度的生物標誌需搭配非侵入性且簡便快速的偵測技術,才可能真正推廣與落實於疾病的監測。我們針對疾病設計臨床檢體的收集與品質管理,建置系統完整記錄檢體資訊與病人定期追蹤的預後狀況,利用此大量體液檢體驗證具高潛力的生物標誌,並以開發檢驗試劑為終極目標。
研究方向:
1. 利用多體學技術分析高風險癌前病變與口腔癌組織檢體,藉以釐清癌前病變細胞惡性癌變的過程,進而應用在口腔癌的監控、早期診斷與治療。
2.胞外囊泡研究方法開發
3.探討胞外體在癌變進程中扮演的角色,找尋可區辨疾病之胞外體膜蛋白,並在大量體液檢體中驗證其效力。
