Compulsory Miscellaneous Fee in CGU
(First 9 months)
In addition to tuition fee, students are required to pay the Compulsory Miscellaneous Fee (CMF), as long as they remain registered as students with the University. These compulsory annual miscellaneous fee are charged for registration to student council, students' activities, insurance**, sport facilities, IT facilities and academic related services. These fee are non-refundable.
- Student Safety Insurance (required by Ministry of Education): the fee is around NT$299 per semester.
- Group Medical Insurance: NT$3,000 covering the first 6 months
- National Health Insurance: once you are eligible to register, the fee is NT$826 per month.
- Living expenses: NT$7,000-10,000 per month.

The Compulsory Miscellaneous Fees for AY2024 with effect from 1 Jan 2024 are as follows:

** Insurance coverage will cease
- as at date of conferment for graduating students
- as at leave approval date or leave start date (whichever is later) for students taking Term Leave of Absence (1 term or more).
