[Call for Interest] The University is planning to introduce the Syncell Microscoop® spatial biology targeting platform and is surveying faculty and researchers regarding their interest and research needs.
Dear Faculty Members and Researchers,
To further strengthen our institution’s research capacity and international competitiveness in Precision Medicine and Spatial Biology, the University is currently evaluating the introduction of Syncell Microscoop®, a cutting-edge spatial proteomics platform developed by a Taiwanese research team. This system is the world’s first technology capable of precisely targeting and profiling proteins at the subcellular level using light-guided labeling.
We hereby invite faculty members and research personnel who have an interest in or potential research needs for this technology to express their willingness to participate. Your feedback will serve as a key reference for future equipment acquisition decisions and the formation of interdisciplinary research collaborations.
I. Core Technology and Advantages of Syncell Microscoop®
Syncell Microscoop® integrates AI-based image recognition with two-photon laser-guided targeting technology, enabling automated and highly precise labeling of predefined regions of interest (ROIs). Its standardized workflow includes:
-
AI-assisted Identification
Automated recognition and localization of specific subcellular structures. -
Precision Labeling
Laser-guided induction of fluorescence-based protein biotinylation within the targeted region. -
Sample Extraction
Isolation and purification of biotinylated proteomes from the labeled subcellular compartments. -
Deep Proteomic Profiling
High-sensitivity protein identification and analysis through mass spectrometry.
This technology overcomes long-standing technical barriers in conventional proteomics by enabling accurate subcellular sampling and molecular characterization, opening new possibilities for spatially resolved biological and biomedical research.
II. Response Method
Faculty members and researchers who are interested in or foresee potential applications of this technology are kindly requested to complete the online response form at the following link:
