Department Introduction

1. Mission:
To provide technical services for micro-imaging to various research units within and outside Chang Gung University (including Chang Gung Memorial Hospital).

2. History:
Established on December 1, 1998.

3. Features:
The center primarily serves faculty and researchers at the university (including Chang Gung Memorial Hospital) who have research projects (for internal transfer of funds). The secondary target group is external personnel collaborating on research projects with university colleagues. In addition to instrument usage, the center also offers services for biological sample preparation and handling.

6. Teaching and Workshops:
Annual workshops on the application of confocal microscopy and transmission electron microscopy techniques are held.

7. Research:
- Available for those certified by the administrator to operate independently or with the administrator's assistance (a fee applies, directly transferred by the school).
- Users should register for appointments on the Microscopy Center website.
- Experts are invited to introduce and promote the principles and applications of related technologies.
- Various instrument usage demonstrations and operation workshops are conducted.
