Imaris Image Analysis Software Workshop
Imaris is a powerful software suite for visualizing and performing quantitative analysis on 3D, 4D,
and multidimensional microscopic images. The Imaris suite consists of multiple modules that allow
users to easily distinguish the relative positions and distances between points of interest in space,
as well as to track movement over time within spatial contexts. With Imaris, users can generate
realistic 3D images and create videos to better display spatial relationships. The software offers
substantial benefits in fields such as neurobiology, cell biology, developmental biology,
molecular biotechnology, medical imaging, physiology, and clinical medical diagnostic image analysis.
Key features of Imaris include:
-Imaris Core: Provides 3D/4D image visualization, quantitative analysis, and image production.
-Imaris Stitcher: Precisely aligns and stitches multiple image tiles.
-Imaris Measurement Pro: Measures geometric and intensity attributes to yield quantitative results.
-Imaris Track Lineage: Tracks and analyzes dynamic objects in 2D, 3D, and 4D.
-Imaris Coloc: Measures colocalization in 3D/4D images.
-Imaris ClearView: Offers high-speed GPU deconvolution for clearer imaging.
-Imaris XT: Enables multi-functional expansion through interaction with other software.
-Filament Tracer: Traces filamentous structures, such as neuronal dendrites/axons, dendritic spines, and microtubule structures.
-Imaris Cell: Analyzes 3D/4D subcellular structures.
-Imaris Batch: Automates image processing in batches for quick final results.
Imaris Vantage: Transforms statistical data into visual representations, making 3D graphical results more intuitive.
We welcome all faculty and students to join us for this informative session.
