Electronic resources
Can alumni access library databases, e-journals, and e-books?
Due to licensing agreements, electronic resources are only available to current faculty, staff, and students. Alumni must visit the library to use these resources.
How can I access databases from off-campus?
The university's databases use IP-based authentication. For off-campus access, please refer to the Off-Campus Access Guide.
Why can't I find database search results in the library?
Databases contain records from journals, conferences, and other sources worldwide. Not all materials indexed in databases are physically available in the library.
How can I request a workshop on electronic resources?
Workshops are held every semester. Faculty and students may also request customized training sessions at least three working days in advance. Contact Reader Services (ext. 5622 or email:
libdb@mail.cgu.edu.tw
).
