CGU Library is recruiting one full-time reserved administrative staff member.
Job Description:
(1) Cleaning and managing library facilities and spaces.
(2) Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair requests for all library equipment and facilities.
(3) Requisition and management of general office supplies across the library.
(4) Management of the library’s reading center and lockers.
(5) Shift-based duty at the circulation service desk.
(6) General administrative tasks assigned by supervisors.
Work Location: Chang Gung University Library
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Salary and Benefits:
(1) Salary: Approximately NT$39,230 per month, in accordance with the Chang Gung University's regulations, subject to final approval.
(2) In the first year, the position is a contract-based reserve employee, enjoying labor insurance, health insurance, holiday bonuses, and year-end bonuses. Upon passing the assessment at the end of the first year, the employee will be formally appointed as a full-time member, enjoying public insurance, health insurance, holiday bonuses, and year-end bonuses.
Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above from a full-time university program.
Application Requirements:
(1) Proficient in computer operations, Office document processing, and network system operations.
(2) Capable of basic troubleshooting for general facility equipment (e.g., printers, electrical and mechanical devices).
(3) Possess strong communication and coordination skills, a proactive service attitude, attention to detail, a sense of responsibility, and sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.

A. For Internal Applicants:
(1) This position is open for internal transfer applications from current CGU administrative staff at the same level.
(2) Current contract staff and research assistants who have served at CGU for over two years: successful applicants will be hired initially as contract-based reserved General Affairs Clerks. Upon completing a one-year evaluation and training period with satisfactory performance, they may be formally appointed as full-time staff. Failure to pass the evaluation will result in termination of the contract.
(3) Interested applicants should submit the following documents:

c. Academic transcripts (Bachelor’s degree holders must provide undergraduate transcripts; Master’s degree holders must submit both undergraduate and graduate transcripts)
d. Copy of diploma(s)
e. Letter of consent from current supervisor
f. Report on previous work experience and supporting evidence of practical performance.
g. Signed "Personal Information Collection Notification and Consent Form" (Downloadable from the CGU Office of Personnel website under "Personnel Forms")
h. Other supporting documents, such as: English proficiency test score; Certifications of professional competence; Documentation of relevant experience.
