- 探討心血管系統藥物或新藥如抗心律不整、抗心衰竭與血管鬆弛活性之藥理與電生理學作用機制。
- 建立小動物導致慢性心臟疾病如心肌肥大及心衰竭之不同病因心臟壓力超負載、糖尿病、心肌梗塞或肺高壓模式,探討藥物或新藥對之心臟電生理學重整作用,與心房或心室心律不整感受性之改善效果及分子機制。
- 與臨床醫師合作研究心律不整如心房纖維顫動(atrial fibrillation)之病理機制及創新治療策略發展。
研究特色
本研究室應用各種研究技術,由活體動物、器官、組織及單細胞等不同層次,全面性探討藥物作用之電生理學與分子機制。抗心律不整藥物的研究上,以單細胞離子通道電生理學的研究技術來評估藥效與探討機轉是最為直接與適用的途徑。單細胞膜電位箝定(patch-clamping)技術探索胞膜離子通道調控的技術極具特色,在1970年代由Neher及Sakmann等人發展之後,已廣為全球生醫科學界所應用。本研究室設備廣泛應用於心肌、平滑肌及細胞株膜電位與離子流動調控之研究,並應用於探討慢性心血管疾病細胞電生理重塑作用之機制,協助解決心血管科學研究上所見之相關問題。
