🎉 Two student startup teams from Chang Gung University have secured NT$1 million in total funding through the Ministry of Education Youth Development Administration’s 2025 U-start Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, showcasing exceptional entrepreneurial talent and innovation capacity.
The first-phase funding results for the 2025 U-start Program named two CGU teams—TakeItLab and Techie Pet Gene Mon—as grant recipients, with each team awarded NT$500,000 in startup funding.

Project: Conan Cabinet – Intelligent Long-term Care Item Management Solution
This project addresses the needs of long-term care facilities and senior communities by enabling residents and caregivers to search for, register, and return items efficiently. Leveraging technology, it improves the autonomy of residents, reduces caregiver workload, optimizes elderly community and shared space management, and sets a new benchmark for smart item management. -
Techie Pet Gene Mon (Innovative Service Category)
Focusing on precision pet nutrition, the team integrates genetic testing with AI analysis to create personalized nutrition plans. Their solution aims to lead a new era in precision pet care, helping pets maintain health, enhance quality of life, and extend lifespan through innovative technology.
According to the CGU Office of Technology Cooperation, the university will continue to mentor the teams for steady growth, integrate on- and off-campus entrepreneurship resources, and provide comprehensive support, enabling students to transition from campus innovation to successful startup ventures.
