Institute of Immunology and Translational Medicine, Chang Gung University, Taiwan. / Open Positions for Two Full-Time Assistant Professors (or Higher)
The newly
established Institute of Immunology and Translational Medicine at Chang Gung University, College of Medicine, will officially launch in August
2025. Following approval from the Ministry of Education, the institute will
welcome its first cohort of master's students. The institute is dedicated to
cultivating top-tier talent in immunology, aiming to equip students with
exceptional research capabilities in immunological science and to enable the
practical application of their expertise in clinical medicine and the
biotechnology industry.
In close collaboration with the Molecular and Clinical
Immunology Center, the institute offers state-of-the-art research facilities
and specialized immunology equipment, ensuring new faculty members have optimal
conditions to begin their research immediately.

Position:
Full-time Assistant Professor (or higher); 2 positions available.
Qualifications:
1.
Candidates
with expertise in immunology or related biomedical fields must meet one of the
following criteria:
Possess
a doctoral degree or equivalent qualifications with excellent academic
performance and specialized publications.
Hold
a master’s degree or equivalent qualifications with at least four years of
relevant research, professional experience, or related work, with excellent
academic performance and specialized publications.
Be
a graduate from a university or independent medical school in medicine,
traditional Chinese medicine, or dentistry, with at least nine years of
clinical experience, including a minimum of four years as an attending
physician in a medical center, with excellent academic performance and
specialized publications.
Have
served as a lecturer at a domestic or international university for at least
three years, with excellent academic performance and specialized publications.
2.
Proficiency
in teaching in English.
3.
Teaching
experience is preferred but not required.
Areas of Expertise
We welcome
candidates with expertise in any immunology-related field. Preference will be
given to those with experience in the following areas:
1.
Academic
research in cancer immunology, immune cell therapy, gene editing, or drug
development.
2.
Industry
experience in mRNA vaccines, antibody drug development, or cell therapies.
3.
Proficiency
in data analysis tools, expertise in high-parameter flow cytometry, or
experience in mouse models for cell therapy research.

start date is August 1, 2025.
