Applicants must complete the online application and upload all required documents through the Chang Gung University Online Admission System during the application period.

Application Documents

  1. Official Academic Transcripts
    Please include class or departmental ranking if such information is available from your previous institution.

  2. List of Two Referees
    Please provide the name, title, telephone number, and e-mail address of each referee.

  3. Two Letters of Recommendation
    Each referee must upload their letter of recommendation directly through the online application system.

  4. Letter of Motivation and Study/Research Plan (maximum 3 pages)
    The statement should include your motivation for applying, relevant academic or research experience, research interests, reasons for choosing our Institute, your proposed study and preliminary research plans after enrollment, and your future career goals. A complete or binding research proposal is not required.

  5. Curriculum Vitae (CV) (maximum 2 pages)

  6. Supplementary Materials (maximum 5 items)
    Applicants may submit additional materials that support their application, such as publications, research project reports, awards and honors, certificates from academic programs, or other evidence of professional or academic achievements. Please include a brief list of the submitted materials and a description of your individual contribution to each item.

Review and Interview Process

  1. nterview Date: November 13, 2026 (Friday).

  2. Interview Format: The interview will consist of an oral presentation followed by questions from the interview committee. Applicants should prepare a 10–15-minute presentation covering their personal background, academic experience, and future plans. The presentation will be followed by approximately 5-10 minutes of questions from the interview committee.

  3. Presentation Slides: Please submit the PowerPoint file for your oral presentation by e-mail to the Institute Office at cgu_IITM@cgu.edu.tw no later than one week before the interview.
