Fall 2026 Living Stipend Scholarship Application and Renewal

Applications are open to new students and current scholarship recipients. Retroactive applications from students admitted in 2025 will not be accepted.

Eligibility

New Students — Meet either requirement:
1. Meet the English proficiency requirement within the past five years.
2. Rank in the top 40% of their undergraduate class or department.

Renewal Applicants — Meet all requirements:
1. Previous-semester average of at least 80.
2. Pass the previous semester’s seminar.
3. Obtain an advisor’s recommendation letter.
4. Fulfill all scholarship obligations.

Application Period

Until 12:00 noon, Friday, September 11, 2026.

Required Documents

New Students

  1. Application form
  2. Proof of English proficiency or undergraduate ranking
  3. Scholarship receipt

Renewal Applicants

  1. Application form
  2. Advisor’s recommendation letter
  3. Research progress report
  4. Research work records totaling at least 80 hours
  5. Scholarship receipt

Award

TWD 48,000 per semester, for up to four semesters (TWD 192,000 maximum).

Selection

Up to five recipients. Priority is based on:

  1. Applicants not receiving other scholarships or internship allowances, excluding tuition scholarships.
  2. Academic performance; new students are assessed by admission results.

Notes

  • Scholarships may not be held concurrently. Confirm eligibility before applying.
  • Students who fail to meet renewal requirements may reapply in a later semester, but no retroactive payment will be made.
