  • Research Interests

Our laboratory is interested in the biochemical and molecular mechanisms underlying T cell activation, differentiation, and tolerance. The primary focus of our research is T cell tolerance mechanisms, which have important implications for achieving immune tolerance in autoimmune diseases and transplant rejection.

    Current research focuses include:

    • Immunometabolism, including regulation by HIF-1α and glutamine metabolism
    • MicroRNA and epigenetic regulation in the immune system
