July 6–10, 2026 Our Nursing Students Participate in the “2026 SNU International Summer Nursing Program” at Seoul National University, Korea

Our Third-year student Yi-Ting Huang and second-year student Yu-Hsuan Wang from the participated in the 2026 SNU International Summer Nursing Program at Seoul National University (SNU), Korea, from July 6 to 10, 2026.

The five-day program brought together 15 nursing students from eight universities across Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. Activities included nursing lectures and seminars, a visit to Seoul National University Hospital, campus and college tours, and technology-enhanced learning using vSim and Virtual Reality (VR).

A key highlight was SNU’s integration of digital technology into nursing education. VR-supported anatomy learning enabled students to explore human structures from multiple perspectives, while vSim provided interactive clinical scenarios for practicing patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical decision-making in a safe environment.

The program also featured a Buddy Program, allowing students from different countries to exchange cultural experiences and learn about diverse nursing education and healthcare systems.

Through this intensive international experience, the students broadened their professional perspectives, strengthened cross-cultural communication skills, and gained deeper insight into the use of digital technology in nursing education. The program also provided valuable inspiration for the Department’s continued development of international exchange and innovative nursing education.
