Event Title: 2026 Freshmen & Parents Orientation Meeting – College of Nursing, Chang Gung University
Event Description:
To help incoming students and their parents gain a better understanding of the Department of Nursing at Chang Gung University, the faculty members and Nursing Student Association jointly organized this orientation meeting.
During the event, faculty members introduced the department and the university, while members of the Nursing Student Association shared highlights of campus life through sharing photos and personal experiences. Important information regarding course selection and academic requirements was also provided, helping incoming students plan for their studies and allowing parents to better understand their children’s future learning experiences and extracurricular activities. Following the orientation, officers of the Nursing Student Association assisted the faculty advisors of each freshman class in holding their first class meetings. They introduced the responsibilities of class officers and answered questions about university life.
Through this engagement, we hope to help new students enter the semester with confidence and reduced anxiety, while giving parents peace of mind as their children become part of the Chang Gung Nursing community.
