Outstanding Performance: During his comprehensive clinical practicum, our student, Yi-Ming Huang, represented the nursing team in an interprofessional case discussion (collaborating with medical interns, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and hospice shared-care nurses). Focusing on the holistic care of a patient with pulmonary tuberculosis, and under the guidance of Registered Nurse Yi-Ling Chien, he delivered a presentation on "Nursing Professional Assessment."
The presentation comprehensively covered the patient's physical, psychological, spiritual, and social dimensions. Furthermore, he proposed concrete care plans specifically targeting pressure injury prevention and nutritional assessment. His excellent performance successfully demonstrated the clinical value and pivotal role of the nursing profession within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
