Master’s Students’ Academic Visit to Singapore

From July 7 to July 18, 2025, the School of Nursing conducted the course “Advanced Nursing Practice in Cross-Cultural and Technological Contexts”, led by Prof. Ching-Hwa Hsu, guiding master’s students on an academic exchange and clinical observation program in Singapore. The itinerary included visits to major institutions under SingHealth, namely Changi General Hospital, the National Cancer Centre Singapore, and the National Heart Centre Singapore.
The course aimed to deepen students’ understanding of the roles and functions of Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) and international healthcare systems. Activities encompassed on-site visits to Singapore’s largest public healthcare facilities, in-depth dialogues with advanced nursing education and training professionals, and observations of the application of technology in patient care. Through this program, students gained valuable insights into diverse healthcare environments and the professional roles of advanced practice nurses, while fostering clinical innovation and a global perspective.
