To enhance students' and faculty's professional growth and career development, the Department of Nursing at the College of Medicine, Chang Gung University, is pleased to host a special lecture on May 19, 2025. The lecture will feature Professor Linda H. Yoder, a professor Emerita at the School of Nursing, University of Texas at Austin. Professor Yoder, a former President of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, was also selected as a Fellow in the 2011 Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellows Program cohort. She is widely acknowledged for her leadership in clinical education and nursing development.

The lecture, "Career Development Relationships," will delve into five key relationships that significantly influence professional advancement: precepting, peer strategizing, coaching, sponsoring, and mentoring. Professor Yoder will define the characteristics and roles of each relationship and discuss their relevance at various stages of one’s career.
