Professor Nancy Glass introduced her research team's development of the myPlan app and related studies, designed to help survivors of intimate partner violence, along with their family and friends, take safety actions. The research found that using the resources provided by the app increased individuals' use of safety strategies, heightened awareness of abusive behaviors, and boosted confidence in addressing the issue. It also enhanced their ability to end abusive relationships, reduced reproductive coercion, and lowered suicide rates among survivors.
