Undergraduate Program
1. Distinguished Faculty: Our team consists of experts in radiological sciences, including numerous senior clinical directors from the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH) system.
2. Clinical & Academic Integration: We offer advanced research and teaching facilities supported by the vast resources of the Chang Gung Medical Foundation. Students train on state-of-the-art equipment, including Taiwan’s first Proton Therapy Center.
3. Low Student-to-Faculty Ratio: We maintain a small-class environment to ensure high-quality teaching, comprehensive academic mentoring, and personalized life coaching.
4. Excellence in Research: With faculty achieving outstanding academic results, students interested in research can join laboratories early to master modern methodologies and explore cutting-edge topics.
5. Diverse Curriculum: To boost career competitiveness, we offer specialized programs, including the Biomedical Imaging & AI Micro-program and the Basic Medical Physics Program.
6. Affordability & Support: Chang Gung University offers the lowest tuition among private universities in Taiwan, complemented by a wide range of scholarships and grants.
7. Premier Learning Environment: Our department provides abundant resources and spacious learning areas, ranking among the top radiological science departments in the nation.
8. Interdisciplinary Success: We emphasize cross-disciplinary learning, resulting in graduates who excel in both advanced academic pursuits and professional careers.
Master’s Program
Our Master’s program aims to cultivate elite Medical Physicists and researchers in imaging and radiological sciences. By combining clinical resources with fundamental research energy, we have become a hub for:
- Key Research Areas: (1) Proton Therapy, (2) Medical Physics, (3) Molecular Imaging, (4) Clinical fMRI & Diffusion Imaging, (5) Clinical Research on Taiwan-specific Cancers, (6) Neurodegenerative Disease Imaging, and (7) AI Applications in Radiological Science.
Global Impact & Resources:
- Proton Therapy Leadership: As Taiwan expands its proton therapy centers, we provide the essential education and research resources to meet the demand for high-level professionals. Students have the opportunity to work with world-class facilities for research in materials science and high-energy physics.
- Financial Support: Generous scholarships, including Teaching Assistant (TA) and Research Assistant (RA) positions, are available to all qualified students.
- International Standards: All courses are conducted in English. Our curriculum is designed based on CAMPEP (North America) standards. Students can also apply for overseas clinical rotations or exchange programs to broaden their international perspective.
Ph.D. Program
The Ph.D. program focuses on developing high-level researchers and academic faculty. We leverage the full strength of the Chang Gung system to provide a world-class environment for advanced inquiry.
Research Excellence: Our doctoral candidates engage in pioneering integrated research on topics such as:
- High-precision dosimetry and advanced imaging technologies.
- Micro-environmental biological effects and clinical treatment outcomes.
- Neuroimaging and specialized cancer therapies.
Advanced Training Environment:
- Cutting-edge Facilities: Since the launch of Taiwan’s first Proton Therapy facility in 2015, our department has integrated these clinical milestones into our doctoral training, offering an unparalleled environment for clinical and fundamental research.
- Global Connectivity: The program features English-mediated instruction and a curriculum aligned with international professional standards. We actively encourage and support doctoral candidates to engage in overseas academic training and global research collaborations.
- Financial Security: We provide robust financial support through TA/RA fellowships, allowing researchers to focus entirely on their innovative work.
