【Resource Trial】「Wiley Digital Textbooks」Trial and Promotion – Explore and Enjoy!

Legally sourced electronic textbooks not only allow highlighting and annotation, but also offer features such as easy note-taking, full-text and cross-book search, synchronization across different devices, Wikipedia search, bookmarking, bibliographic citation, instant translation, and text-to-speech functionality. To encourage effective digital learning and assist educators in broadening textbook selections, Wiley Publishing is offering trial access to over 20,000 e-books on the Wiley Digital Textbooks platform until November 30,2025. During the trial period, we are also hosting the “My Reading List, My Choice!” faculty recommendation campaign, along with on-site demonstrations. We warmly invite all faculty and students to take part!
  1. Overview: 
    • A selection of Wiley-published textbooks, including widely used course materials and reference books specified by universities worldwide.
    • Include various subjects, such as mathematics/statistics/physics/chemistry, life sciences/geology, social sciences and humanities, health/medicine, engineering/computer, business management/finance.

  3. How to use:
    • First-time Registration and Activation: Register firstly on campus (within the CGU IP range). After registration, you will receive an activation email. Click the link in the email to activate  your account.
    • Access and Use: Once activated, your account can be used both on and off-campus.
    • Borrowing Rules: Each account may borrow up to 3 volumes at a time, with a 7-day loan period.

  4. Faculty only - My Reading List, My Choice!: In order to help faculty expand their textbook selection, teachers are welcome to  recommend textbooks via the online form(https://reurl.cc/YYzR6a) during the trial period. The library will collect and evaluate them.
  5. On-Site Demonstration and Introduction
    • Date: November 4 (Tuesday) to November 5 (Wednesday), 2025, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Location: Special Collections in Science and Humanities Zone, 1st Floor, Library
    • Event Highlights:
      • Register a personal account for Wiley Digital Textbooks and receive a sweet treat.
      • Borrow a Wiley e-textbook and receive a small gift.
      • Join with a friend to earn a chance to win exclusive gifts in a lucky draw.
